The 2" PVC course thread bung plug is a patented design (US Patent No. D1119444) that provides a secure and tight seal for standard 55 gallon barrels, yet enables easy installation of a 3/4" PVC pipe. Our PVC bung plug eliminates drilling of traditional; bung plug knockouts and installing leaky PVC adapter fittings, thus providing a cheap, fast, reliable solution to adapt standard PVC irrigation piping to 55 gallon barrels. Simply use standard PVC pipe cement to join the pipe to this bung plug! Applications can be for joining together multiple barrels for rain water capture, inserting a fluid level meter, or to just provide extraction point for pumping in or out liquids. Fits a 1-1/2" socket. Comes with EDPM seal.
